A Merry Misrule
Wild Rumpus and Battersea Arts Centre.
I designed the immersive, promenade experience for A Merry Misrule, created with Wild Rumpus and Battersea Arts Centre. Inspired by the Icelandic folktale The Yule Cat, audiences move through a series of rooms where the all-seeing Yule Cat reigns over a playful, shifting festive world. Along the way, families encounter performers and puppets, and are invited to reflect on seasonal consumption while reconnecting with each other and the rhythms of the natural world.
