Bamboo Silk Flags
Timber Festival 2022, Wild Rumpus.
A series of hand-dyed bamboo silk flags created for Timber Festival 2022 during my time as a Designer and Maker at Wild Rumpus. The project was my first experience working with reactive dyes, experimenting with colour, pattern and the way lightweight textiles respond to movement and light.
This early exploration of dyeing and textile processes has continued to inform my material practice, particularly my use of hand-dyed fabrics within my Quiet Space installations.
