Pavilion of the Hopeful Sun

Wild Rumpus touring work, originally commissioned for Culture Milton Keynes.

My spatial practice explores how temporary environments can create opportunities for gathering, participation and connection.

Designed in my role as Creative Producer of Immersive Environments with Wild Rumpus, The Pavilion of the Hopeful Sun is a welcoming sculptural pavilion designed as a space for gathering, making and imagining hopeful futures together. Inspired by the summer solstice, it invites audiences to pause, connect and participate through creative workshops, conversations and collective making.

Originally commissioned for Milton Keynes Midsummer Festival, the pavilion has since been reimagined for Timber Festival with Civic Square's Neighbourhood Trade School, hosting practical workshops, talks and shared learning around community action and more just futures. It continues to evolve through new collaborations, most recently as part of Let Hope Blossom with Wild Rumpus and the National Trust.

Designed as a flexible civic space to support participation, creativity and community.
